A short-lived stint at the top didn't stop the AM97 from becoming an icon – the full-length bubble and Bullet Train-like uppers still feel fresh to this day. has been keeping the 25th anniversary of the AM97 pretty low-key, dropping a few colours here and there throughout the year.
After the famed 'Silver Bullet' made its return, we now get a shot at another mythical pair with the 'Golden Bullets'. Although many mistake it as such, these were not an original colour at all. Instead, this gold-hued version released in 1999, just a few years after the first drop. That didn't prevent these from becoming an underground classic on their own, proving to be the only thing you could wear in order to 'one-up' your mates rocking the silver joints.
